Community Thanksgiving Meal

Each year, St. Francis Episcopal Church prepares a free Thanksgiving Meal for the community. With the total served this year expected to be near 1,000, they are in need of assistance. We have been offered the wonderful opportunity to partner with them by contributing green beans and sweet potato casseroles to serve 144. If you are interested in helping me cook these items in our new kitchen (a good test run of our gas oven and stove!), please let me know. The plan is to prepare the food on Tuesday, November 22 to be delivered to St. Francis around 5pm for distribution on Wednesday, November 23. I think this would be a wonderful way for us to give back to our community, to partner with our friends at St. Francis, and to enjoy some great fellowship in our new kitchen. Please let me know if you will be able to help or if you are willing to donate toward the purchase of ingredients.
